WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
At Speak French Now we’ve designed our classes so that by the end of each lesson you’ll be able to hold a conversation as you would in a real-life situation. Our focus will always be onlearning language which is both practical and relevant to you. Our lessons can be tailored to your own needs but here is a little guide of what you can expect to learn with us at each level.
You will learn the basics of French and learn how to introduce yourself, how to order in cafes and restaurants, shop for food and clothes, ask for (and understand) directions, buy tickets, catch transport and get around, so that you won’t feel like a complete tourist during your travels.
Continue building up your oral skills and learn how to talk about yourself, your family and friends, express your own feelings, ideas, experiences, projects and plans. You’ll also deepen your understanding of written French, French grammar and extend your vocabulary. More and more you’ll feel that you can take part in casual conversations with French people.
Each week we will discuss a new topic, article or event. You’ll also deepen your understanding of spoken and written French, fine tune your French grammar and extend further your vocabulary. More and more you will feel that you can hold a conversation in any situation.
At each level, you’ll also discover valuable French idioms and colloquialisms that are currently in use – so that you can sound a little bit more like a local. This way, you won’t call a waiter “Garçon!” (Boy!) like you’re in a 1950’s French movie, and you’ll probably get better service. Even if you feel you’re struggling with your French, you may be able to win over the most imposing local with “Excusez-moi, mais je parle français comme une vâche espagnole” (I’m sorry, but I speak French like a Spanish cow!).
‘Speak French Now’ is opened to students of all ages and all levels. Our school offers personalized private and semi-private tuition as well as small group classes in the Eastern Suburbs, in Sydney and Online so that you can learn with us from anywhere in Australia or in the World.

Our Private Lessons offer an intensive learning experience with lots of practice time and personal feedback to learn French fast. Private lessons can also be tailored to your specific needs and schedule.

If distance, transport or a busy schedule is an issue and you can't attend our French classes in person, we also offer French lessons on Zoom or Skype. Enjoy our unique language experience from the comfort of your own home or office from anywhere in the world.
